Dr. Mila Casey
Health and Vision Coach
I was born and raised in Russia, became certified as an ophthalmologist and surgeon in 1991, and practiced medicine for 12 years in Nizhny Novgorod and Moscow. In 2004 I moved to Bethesda, MD with my husband and our two sons. We move frequently due to my husband’s job postings and have lived in Moscow, Russia, Maryland, USA, Istanbul, Turkey, Vienna, Austria.
I always had a passion for the study and practice of good nutrition and healthy lifestyle. After moving to the USA from Russia I started having digestive issues, which doctors couldn’t help me with. I decided to study the topic myself and even took some courses. I resolved all my health issues and wanted to help others. In 2008 I became a certified nutritional consultant (CNC) through the American Association of Nutritional Consultants.

My approach is transparent
I have been working at the Wellness Clinic in Bethesda, Maryland since 2012. In August of 2015, I started independent wellness counseling both in-person and via Skype. In 2018, I joined Wellness Forum Health Company, becoming a Health Educator and affiliate health practitioner.
I love coaching my clients and helping them resolve health issues through health-promoting eating habits, lifestyle changes, self-education, and informed medical decisions.
I discovered the natural Bates Method for improving eyesight—and experienced the benefits myself. That journey made me realize I could combine my medical training in Ophthalmology with health coaching to support people holistically.
Today, I offer talks, workshops, natural vision improvement sessions, and even cooking classes—live and via Zoom. I look forward to guiding you on your journey to better health, vision, and wellness.
